Brian Morgan invited me to POJ no less than 100 times before I finally agreed to go. In that one hour, I met a Jesus so different, so loving, so unbelievably relatable. This was nothing like the serious-faced, stoic readings of the Bible I had known into my 20s. In this room, the Gospel was the hope- and love-filled story it was always meant to be. Brian and Amanda Morgan are meeting the world right where it is with the honesty, compassion and the love of Jesus. It’s a message anyone can hear and anyone can apply. The red letters in the Bible (those spoken by Jesus) hit differently through the lens of POJ. I felt all the hurts in my heart start to soften. I would be back to hear more good news at the next class…and the next…and the next…
